Here at SpacePunk we are all about wonder. Magic, horror, strange universes and stranger characters are the lenses through which we investigate the unknown. But wonder is not enough. We want worlds with rich histories and living, breathing cultures. We want mysteries that take us down rabbit holes often or altogether avoided. We want stories which tie together personalities that pull us right down into the gritty black gutters of nightmare planets, war worlds and demonic dimensions.
Our focus is on those subgenres of sci-fi that integrate fantasy and horror elements. While we are open to fantasy-heavy branches, our main interest is in deeply-thought-out and well-researched veins of veins of sci-fi that include the magical splash of fantasy rather than fantasy that includes a splash of sci-fi. For length, we are interested in dense, epic-scale series with A, B and C plots.
As a platform for authors, by authors, our mission is to support those authors who's minds work in the spaces that current traditional publishers tend to overlook or regard as too risky for investment. The world of books is starved of spacemagic, and we aim to end that with a bang.
If all of this is your jam, then we welcome your stories with a final note. We are committed to quality, polish and innovation in sci-fi. Submit only your best work. No first drafts will be considered. If accepted, you can expect honest feedback, marketing assistance, representation, and the support of a community of writers covering a variety of genres. But most importantly, your work will remain yours.
